A2 level program – English language
level A2 it is a continuation of the knowledge gained in the level A1 and aims to further develop communication in the English language. During this level, students expand their vocabulary, reinforce their grammar and gain greater confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. The program is built according to standards CEFR and prepares candidates for communication in various situations of everyday life.
At A2 level you will learn:
- Introduce yourself and others in more detail.
- Talk about family and family relationships.
- Discuss hobbies, sports and leisure activities.
- Use verbs and collocations related to sports and physical activities.
- To talk about school subjects, school life and its premises.
- Describe parts of the house, furniture and everyday objects.
- Describe clothing, fashion and appearance.
- Talk about holidays, special occasions and traditions.
- Use extended vocabulary for food, drink and cooking.
- Discuss healthy eating and lifestyle.
- Use quantity expressions (much, many, some, any, a little, a few, enough, too much etc.).
- Orientate yourself in the city and give or ask for directions.
- Use vocabulary for public places, buildings and services.
- Talk about different places, cities and trips.
- Describe the places you want to visit.
- Talk about different nationalities, countries and cultures.
- Describe personal experiences and events from the past.
- Tell short stories and weekend activities.
- Talk about future plans, goals and activities.
- To organize the weekend or holidays with friends and family.
- Write messages, announcements, invitations and informal letters.
- Express likes, dislikes and personal opinions.
- Ask for and give information in different situations.
- To order food and drinks in a restaurant or cafe.
- Ask for help and communicate in common situations of everyday life.
- Talk about health problems and body parts.
- Understand texts and audio materials on everyday topics.
- Have longer and more fluent conversations in English.

- Present Simple Tense – affirmation, negation and interrogative.
- Present Continuous Tense – use and comparison with Present Simple.
- Present Perfect Tense – affirmation, negation and interrogative.
- The difference between Present Perfect AND Past Simple.
- Past Simple Tense with regular and irregular verbs.
- The use of was / were AND could.
- There is / There are in different forms.
- Can, Could, Have to, Don't have to.
- Will AND Going to for plans and forecasts.
- Adverbs of Frequency (always, usually, often, sometimes, never).
- Countable & Uncountable Nouns.
- Much, Many, Some, Any, A little, A few, Enough, Too much, Too many.
- Comparative and superlative of adjectives.
- Prepositions of place and time.
- Object Pronouns.
- How much...? / How many...?
- Should / Shouldn't for advice.
- The use of like + -ing AND would like.
- Forming complete questions and answers.
- Reinforcement of sentence structure and word order.
Development of language skills
- Intensive listening exercises (Listening).
- Reading and analysis of texts adapted for level A2.
