A1 level program – English language
level A1 it is the first step towards confident use of the English language. During this level, students build the foundations of communication, develop vocabulary, learn basic grammatical structures and acquire basic communication skills. speaking, listening, reading and writing according to the standards of CEFR.
At level A1 you will learn:
- Greet, introduce yourself and introduce other people.
- Use the English alphabet and pronounce nouns and adjectives correctly.
- Provide personal information such as name, age, address, occupation, nationality and telephone number.
- Use the numbers from 0 to 100 in different situations.
- To know countries, nationalities, languages and cities.
- Use prominent and non-prominent nodes (a, an, the).
- Use personal pronouns and possessive adjectives.
- Talk about family members and family relationships.
- Describe people, appearance and basic characteristics.
- Use auxiliary verbs oath, Haven AND WILL.
- To use Present Simple in the affirmative, negative and interrogative form.
- To use Present Continuous in the affirmative, negative and interrogative form.
- To use Past Simple with regular and irregular verbs.
- Identify and use have AND have got/has got.
- To use can/can't to express abilities and possibilities.
- To use there is / there are in communication.
- Use prepositions of place and time.
- Form questions with WH-questions AND Yes/No Questions.
- Talk about daily routines and activities.
- Describe your lifestyle and personal habits.
- Talk about free time, hobbies and interests.
- Use the vocabulary for food, drinks and orders in a restaurant or cafe.
- Talk about clothes, colors and description of objects.
- To learn professions and activities related to them.
- Use vocabulary for body parts and simple health problems.
- Talk about the house, rooms and furniture.
- Use vocabulary about transport and travel.
- Get oriented in the city and ask or give directions.
- Talk about weekend activities and past events.
- Show the time, date, days of the week, months and years.
- Use common expressions in everyday communication.
- Ask for and give information in common situations.
- Make and accept invitations politely.
- Offer and accept food or drink.
- Talk about prices, purchases and different products.
- Write informal messages, emails and short letters.
